VIENTIANE CAPITAL, May 7, 2026 — The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) and AIDC Tech Sole Co., Ltd. formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Vientiane Capital, marking a major step forward in the development of the Digital Trade Operating Platform (DTOP). The agreement establishes a partnership to jointly develop a system for managing, monitoring, and tracking the import, export, and domestic distribution of goods.
The signing ceremony, attended by senior leaders and representatives from both organizations, was held alongside the official opening of the DTOP Service Stations — a new fuel and energy retail solution powered by the DTOP ecosystem. The event brought together key stakeholders to witness the launch and explore the platform's capabilities through live demonstrations.
DTOP Service Stations introduce advanced fuel management technology, including ATG (Automatic Tank Gauge) probes for monitoring fuel conditions, oil and water floaters for precise fuel measurement, and water contamination detection — all designed to deliver greater transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in fuel retail operations.
Through this collaboration, MOIC and AIDC Tech aim to modernize trade infrastructure, strengthen supply chain visibility, and support the country's broader digital transformation goals. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building smarter, data-driven systems that benefit businesses, regulators, and consumers alike.
